Be the first to hear all three medal winners of the 2018 10th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, held only once every four years with competitors from around the world. Symmography is the Art of Strings and these musicians have mastered this craft! In addition to individual solos, an encore with all three medalists will be performed. Enjoy violin-inspired artwork by area elementary students on display in the Emens Lobby before the concert.
This special evening will start with a side-by-side performance with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of East Central Indiana. Listen to the accomplishments of these talented young musicians as they take the stage with a professional orchestra for a special evening.

The mission of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) is to recognize, reward and promote the world’s finest young classical violinists, and encourage understanding, appreciation and support of the violin repertoire by a large and diverse audience.
