Together in Music

For over 70 years, the Muncie Symphony Orchestra has been an essential part of the fabric of the Muncie Community. Several years ago, the Muncie Symphony launched a new community partnership called Together in Music. This project was immensely successful reaching thousands of area residents. Through generous funding, the MSO is excited to announce that Together in Music will continue to bring great classical music and arts education to the Muncie Community.

Together in Music strives to share our passion for live symphonic music and to cultivate new relationships throughout our community. With the focus on early childhood and family education, members of the Muncie Symphony Orchestra are visiting our community centers, public libraries and family-friendly public events to give live performances, offer information about our instruments, share books about composers and the instruments of the orchestra, and give students the opportunity to experience playing a variety of instruments.
