Greetings from the League!
Welcome to the Muncie Symphony Orchestra League Page! We are a group of hard-working and fun-loving Muncie area residents who want to keep the Muncie Symphony thriving in our community. As a group, we enjoy an active social life, while making a solid contribution to the promotion of fine music in our area.
You may be interested in working with children through our music education program, or getting involved in the exciting Muncie Symphony fund raising project. Either way, you will be contributing your time and talents to a very worthwhile cause. We will help you find your niche and you too can help wonderful music grow in our community.

The Muncie Symphony League has supported the orchestra since 1955.
The League plays an important role in promoting the orchestra and raising funds through such projects as the annual Spring Plant Sale, Picnic Tables at the Symphony on the Green, and the Summer Garden Tour.
League Activities:
- Educational Programs
The League’s support of educational programs is vital. It provides invaluable assistance and backing for several on-going MSO educational projects including the annual Young People’s Concert and Music on the Move program. - Music Scholarships
The Muncie Symphony League supports music education through the awarding of two music scholarships annually to two deserving BSU music students that are involved in MSO activities. Countless young people have been able to further their own education because of these scholarships. Call the MSO office at 285.5531 for more details. - Fun Social Events
The League sponsors several social events for League members and their guests, including a fall membership luncheon and a spring appreciation tea. Call the MSO office at 285.5531 for more details.
Upcoming League Events
Symphony Rummage Sale, June 1, 2013- 9am-3pm
122 E. Main St (downtown, next to Old National Bank). Drop off of the donated items is on May 4 and May 18 from 10am to 2pm at 122. E. Main St. Donated item pick up can be arranged. Contact Cindy at cindy.buchanan@oldnational.com
Now until Saturday, June 8, 2013- family and friends picnic tables sale for Festival on the Green
Sunday, June 9, 2013- Annual Garden Tour 2pm-4pm , gardens in Westwood Park neighborhood. -fun tour in a fun neighborhood a day after Festival on the Green. A little something for everyone: gardens for ladies, cars for gentlemen, kids free, refreshments and music for everyone

Thursday, April 18, 2013- Member Appreciation Coffee- 10am-12pm, Home of Lani Wilson.
January 13, 2013 Tonne and Tapas social, 1pm-3pm. Food and Wine pairing at Tonne Winery. Sample 5 different wines paired with 5 different food samples. Tickets $20. 10% of any additional wine purchase proceeds benefited MSL as well.
