On the cover of our season guide is Anna Vayman. Anna is a professor of violin at Ball State. A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna began her career at the age of 11 performing a variety of solos that led her to opportunities that have taken her all over the world. Anna has performed in Italy, The Netherlands, and one of her most distinguesed honors: the opportunity to share her gift as she performed in Carnegie Hall! |

Our esteemed conductor, Bohuslav Rattay is in his sixth season with the MSO. He is known throughout the world for his efforts toward the preservation of classical music. Bohuslav recently hosted a radio show "Colonial Classics', on 90.9 fm, highlighting the foundation of his desire for continued education of public and concert audiences. |

Byron Plexico is featured on the Rattanovy Series page in the 11/12 season guide. Byron works in business in Indianapolis by day. He enjoys playing viola and recently purchased BMW convertaible that he enjoys in the evenings with his wife of over 25 years. |

Mihoko Watanabe, Assistant Professor of flute at Ball State, is featured on the page of our Classically Classic Series. Mihoko is the guest artist performing the world premiere of composer Jody Nagel's "Days of Yore" a concerto for flute and orchestra. Mihoko's music has been enjoyed around the world, most recently in a flute duo recital in Tokyo, Japan. |
