Reflections from the Artistic Director...
Thank you For making our first season together such a success! While the work was challenging, I also found it energizing and gratifying. As the season progressed, I felt the orchestra found new ways of expressing its strength and newly found free-spirited sound and colors. Along with our inspired soloists, we brought you a mixture of traditional symphonic music and a unique twist of lighter fare. I am sure we shall all agree there is a new visibility, a buzz, about your orchestra.You have shared with me your candid thoughts about the music you’ve heard and the performances you have experienced. sI have enjoyed the conversations, both formal and informal, about music, artists, and composers. I appreciate your ideas and together we will continue to grow.Next season we plan to set your soul on fire! With new and exciting music, traditional symphonic repertoire, and marvelous soloists, we will create a spicy and uniquely radiant season. Your talented orchestra will continue to find its own un vound and you will experience performances rivaling communities much larger than ours.
